The isekai genre of the anime industry has recently received a new addition in the form of theZenshuanime series, which started on August 13, 2025. According to the second episode of the series, Natsuko is transferred to a legendary world based on an anime series she used to watch as a youngster. Ideally, she would have maintained her secret of being an alien to the world, butZenshubreaks this cliché by making it evidently clear to the characters of the anime series where Natsuko is sent.

Yamazaki is known for working on many prominent series likeAttack on TitanandBleach. His contribution to the series has helped it break one major isekai trope that is quite common in other isekai anime series and movies. This trope is linked to the protagonist of the series, Natsuko Hirose, who is an animator/director herself.

Zenshuis breaking a major isekai anime trope

TheZenshuanime series is a perfect blend of fantasy and adventure with a unique twist. It was released on July 16, 2025, and will probably have twelve episodes for its first season. The series has the potential to become one of the greatest anime series of 2025, solely because of how it challenges the anime trope that is quite commonin the isekai genre.

Generally, the protagonist of any isekai anime series hides the fact that the world they are teleported to is a fantastical world and the characters have already written storylines.
