In an interview (viaDeadline), the actor revealed his eagerness to reprise his character after having a blast filming the first season of the Disney Plus miniseriesObi-Wan Kenobi(2022).
The actor also reflected on the past secrecy of concealing his involvement in the show. He added that he just wanted to maintain the intrigue surrounding the show. But has no clue about whether the show will return for a second season or not. He added:

The truth is I’ve talked about having to cover for doing the Obi-Wan season for years, I had to lie about that, and I’m not lying about this now.
