X-Men ’97made a key change by making Morph non-binary, something that received a significant amount of backlash from audiences. The latest episode of the series, titledFire Made Flesh, may have made yet another revelation that has the potential to be just as controversial, if not more, despite the mountain of precedent it has in the comics.
As Mister Sinsiter, via the Goblin Queen, takes over the X Mansion, Morph sees a vision of Logan taking a shower. Rather than turning away, when the character offers to reach ‘the hard to reach places’, implying something a little more than close friendship, before it turns into a nightmare hellscape created by the Jean Clone.
Is Logan bisexual in X-Men ’97?
Morph might be attracted to Wolverine, as hinted in the third episode ofX-Men ’97. The pair have been close friends throughoutX-Men: The Animated Series, something that has never gone beyond mere platonic loyalty. However, it has been debated for quite some time if there was something deeper to their connection in the original series as well.

As far as Episode 3 is concerned, we are yet to see any sort of attraction from Wolverine towards Morph, given that we have seen them as friends so far. While Morph’s comments on the visions could just be some good-natured teasing, it is possible that there is something romantic (one-sided or otherwise) between the characters.
However, given the focus on Jean and Wolverine in the three episodes that we have seen, it is more probable that that aspect of Logan’s love life might be in the spotlight, but that does not mean the Wolverine, is guaranteed to be straight. However, should the show make Wolverine bisexual, it couldcause another host of criticisms coming the show’sway, as it did for Morph.

Wolverine has had a long list of female romantic companions, siring children with multiple of them. However, Wolverine’s history has not been devoid of male lovers either. One of the most well-known of these is his relationship with Hercules, one of the manliest love stories to come out of the Marvel Multiverse, which saw the mutant commit to the demigod, even literally going through hell after Hercules’ father disproves the relationship.

In theDawn of Xrelaunch, it is alsoheavily implied that the love trianglebetween Logan, Scott, and Jean has been resolved, and Jean is now with both Logan and Scott. While any implications of a romantic relationship between Scott and Logan have not been outright, comic history has always coded the two as being heavily envious of each other, almost bordering on romantic when they discuss their feelings with the axis of the love triangle, Jean Grey.
