Narutohas been a lot about legacies as much as it has been about surpassing those legacies. For the titular character to live up to Minato’s reputation and then ahead of it to Sasuke’s journey of the same accord. The story has a lot to do with growth, acceptance, and surpassing already set expectations at their own pace and way.

Himawari Uzumaki using the Byakugan

Boruto: Two Blue Vortexaims to continue its journey exactly that way and more. Through the stories of Boruto and Himawari, there is a certain flow in which the story is progressing. A pattern is being followed so as to set not just up these characters as legacies of the protagonist and his friends and foes, but also to create an individuality of their own through those characters.

Himawari is the Perfect Jinchuriki After Naruto

Chapter 10 ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortexhas a lot going on in it, but what it sets up for Naruto and his connection with Kurama through the existence of Himawari. She ignites a parallel to that of her father, enabling Kurama’s chakra because of a traumatic event. Instead of Kurama wanting to use her as a proper host, the two were seen working hand in hand in an attempt to defeat Jura.

Himawari had an advantage over Naruto. While most Jinchuriki’s have their beasts sealed within them, Himawari’s case was different. She was born with the chakra but not with the beast within her. Kurama states that there is a strong chance for her chakra affinity to be much stronger than that of her father.

The upgrade gives her a chance of being stronger than the long-standing protagonist of Masashi Kishimoto’s story. Making it a revolutionary moment altogether. Seeing how many characters are getting their deserved upgrades, from Boruto to Himawari, everyone is getting an opportunity. So it is only fair for a certain Uchiha member to also deserve it.

Sarada Uchiha’s Time to Shine

With the many charactersBoruto: Two Blue Vortexis trying to incorporate, there were bound to be some who were forgotten or unused. Out of the many whose potential was untouched, Sarada Uchiha stands as the most underused character of the series. After a long time of being shuffled around without proper growth, Sasuke Uchiha’s daughter finally got her time to shine. The latest chapter of the manga makes it clear that her journey is not only in the footsteps of Sakura but also of Sasuke.

Seeing how both Himawari and Boruto are given the opportunity to surpass their parents, it is only fair for Sarada to do the same. With the time skip, she is seen using her Sharingan without any hand signs, showcasing her growth as a character, although away from the public eye. Seeing that she is set to carry on the Uchiha legacy, she too deserves a massive power-up.

She could very well gain the Rinnegan in upcoming chapters. Not only would it allow her to follow in the footsteps of her father, but it would also ensure that everyone knows her position as a main character in the manga.
