Who Is Junker Queen?
Although the Junker Queen hasn’t made her physical debut inOverwatchyet, she’s an important part of the story that all fans should know about. She is the Australian leader of the Junkers, hence the name Junker Queen. The Queen is equipped with mech technology that enables her to have a high-level combat prowess, meaning she is a force to be reckoned with.
The Junker Queen was also an acquaintance of Junkrat and Roadhog, with who fans are likely to be familiar. Unfortunately, this alliance ended poorly, after the two blew up the Queen’s shack. This resulted in Junkrat and Roadhog being exiled from the Junkers.
Currently, the Junker Queen has only been spotted in posters. With the newest leaks, could we finally be about to see the Queen as a new playable hero?
Is Junker Queen Coming ToOverwatch 2?
According to Twitter leaker andÂOverwatchÂinsiderNaeri, Jeff Kaplan reportedly has “big plans” for the Junker Queen. You can check out the tweet below, which includes some beautiful concept art!
Another suggestion comes from fans on Reddit, who believe they may have spotted an unfinished design of The Junker Queen in a clip from BlizzCon 2021. Unfortunately, it’s not much to go off as only a right arm is exposed in the clip. When WillÂOverwatch 2ÂRelease?
As of writing, there’s not a set in stone release date forÂOverwatch 2.ÂThere were reports that the game was delayed until 2022, but the game never actually had a release date in the first place. Fans were disappointed to discover the hotly anticipated sequel wouldn’t be coming this year, but it is currently set to release sometime in 2022.
