Robloxplayers have been left confused and frustrated after the game appears to be completely down for many around the world on May 4th, 2022.
Although the outage is frustrating, the developers have issued a statement on the matter and are actively investigating the cause of the outage.Robloxshould be brought back online shortly, but whilst you wait for the outage to come to an end, here’s everything we know, including the developers' official statement on the matter.
Why Is Roblox Down Today? (May 4th, 2022)
IfRobloxisn’t working for you today (May 4th, 2022), you don’t need to worry. The issue is affecting players all over the world and appears to be a standard outage.
Although this isn’t any sort of planned maintenance, it does appear to be an issue on the developers' side of things. Thankfully, the issue is being investigated as we speak.
Roblox Developers Respond To Game Not Working
On May 4th, 2022 at approximately 2AM EST / 7AM BST, the developers took to their officialTwitter accountto issue a statement on the outage.
The team acknowledged the fact thatRobloxwas not working for many players around the world by saying they are “aware that some of you are having issues accessing Roblox. Our team is actively working on it. Thanks for your patience”.
Unfortunately, theRobloxdevelopers didn’t give a timeframe on how long it would be before the game comes back online. But, as they are fully aware of the outage, it likely won’t be long until things are back up and running.

UPDATE:Fan account@Roblox_RTCis reporting that the game is beginning to come back online for certain users, and may fully return by the morning (EST). However, as of 9:30AM BST,DualShockersis still unable to connect toRoblox. We will continue to update you with any further details.
