Many fans havetaken to Redditto point out the strange occurrences happening during their games ofWarzone. The distress signal appears to be an encrypted morse code signal, that causes the outside of a player’s screen to fuzz up like an old static television. Other fans have pointed out that this isn’t the only type of distress signal happening throughout Verdansk. AnotherReddit userclaims to have heard a Russian voice during their game ofWarzone. The user states that the voice only lasted for about 10 seconds and that it mentions a missing target.
The various distress signals appear to be around the idea of a specific target, and the location of said target.OneWarzonefanthinks they’ve cracked the morse code, claiming that it translates to F8, which is a location on the map Verdansk.
It’s likely that these easter eggs will tie in with the changes coming to Verdansk when Season Two begins, so get ready for a brand newWarzoneexperience.
