Since none of theVenomfilms portrayed a face-off with Spider-Man,Venom 3holds the potential to finally give in to the fans’ demands. Moreover, the sequel might showcase a different version of Spidey or possibly Andrew Garfield’s in the SonySpider-Manuniverse.
As the buzz aroundVenom 3intensifies, fans are getting to work, flaunting their talents and fandom for the superhero. A recent poster is turning heads that presents the hero and anti-hero of the Spidey-verse in a much-anticipated fight. Additionally, an interesting tagline for the still-untitled sequel also flashed over the poster.

Fan poster spills the ultimate speculation
WhetherVenom 3creators are actually devising a plot that pits Peter Parker’s Spider-Man and Eddie Brock’s Venom against each other is still unknown. However, there are speculations thatAndrew Garfieldmight reprise his Spider-Man role in the 2024 film. Adding fuel to the rumors, a fan art by @marvels.wolverine onInstagramenvisioned the speculation and presented it to the world.
The poster imagined a hulky Venom exchanging blows with Garfield’s web-slinger; a thunderous lightning raging behind them and against the archetype cityscape settings. Had it been the movie’s poster, the title would’ve subtly given away the plot, depicting the grand face-off between Spider-Man and Venom. The caption of the post stated,
“Venom 3: Along Came A Spider 🔥 I hope Andrew’s Spidey is in this movie 😍”
The fans’ comments under the post were rather enthusiastic about the speculative fight and commended the artist for putting up their ingenuity. In addition to all the three popular Spider-Man stars appearing in Marvel’sNo Way Home,even the distorted version of Spider-Man, that is,Tom Hardy’s Venom/Eddie Brock also appeared in the post-credits scene of the MCU film.

Will Spider-Man be a part ofVenom 3?
Despite the multiple fan theories transpiring around theVenom 3plot, there has not been any confirmation of Spider-Man’s involvement, let alone Andrew Garfield’s. Marvel Updates on X had previously teased Andrew Garfield’s return in Sony’s Venom 3, however, a subsequent update in late October spoke of Holland’s Spider-Man fighting with Venom.

According to aScreen Rantarticle, it was indicated that chances are low forTom Hollandto reprise as Spider-Man inVenom 3as it would make little sense. Whereas, a new version of Spidey, Garfield, or even Miles Morales from the animated universe, might get a feature.

A now-deleted concept teaser trailer was also released by Stryder HDon YouTube, which was titled,Venom 3: Enter the Multiverse.It depicted Hardy against Andrew Garfied’s Peter Parker. With all of the mind-boggling rumors, it might be possible that Sony might surprise fans with none of the plot theories incorporated. Or even all of it. We will have to wait and watch until then.
