Riot Gameshas shared a briefValorantteaser on Twitter, highlighting June 04, 2025, as an important date for when fans will likely witness the announcement of Episode 6, which is assumed to feature a brand-new map.

As you may already know, Episode 5 Act 3 is supposed to end on January 10, which marks the beginning of Episode 6 Act 1. The new teaser, which showcases Fade inside a city, features a monologue from her saying “so many places to run from the dark, but it always catches up.”

Players can likely expect Fade to be the featured face of the new Episode, so this teaser is likely hinting at an upcoming cinematic for Episode 6 on January 5. However, a credible Valorant leaker doesclaimthat the PBE servers will be updated with Episode 6 content this weekend, which might feature the new map as well. The leaker also believes that the new map should be available on live servers next Tuesday, as soon as the new Episode launches.

Aside from an announcement regarding the new map, Episode 6 will probably include some other changes as well. If the new map is supposed to become a competitive pick, then we can expect some changes in the map pool. The last time, Riot did remove Split from the map pool to add Pearl instead.

According to the previous leaks, the new map will feature a temple theme and is set in India, the country of the latest Agent added to the game, Harbor. So, the city you are witnessing in the teaser above probably is not related to the new map. But the fact that Fade does mention “many places” in her monologue, could probably mean that her fear weapons will infiltrate the new map as well, though it’s just a guess.

It’s worth noting that January 5 marks the end of the current Night Market period. So, you need to get whatever you want to buy from your available offers in the discount market. The Cryostasis skin bundle will also leave the in-game shop soon.
