During yesterday’s State of Play showcase from PlayStation, we got a look atVader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Seriesfor PlayStation VR.

Vader Immortalhas players Mustafar, the home of Darth Vader’s fortress. As you play the campaign, you’ll get to explore the planet, learn about it’s secrets, and explore Vader’s lair. The game is being developed by Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB and developer Black Shamrock for PS VR.

The trailer shows off how you fight droids and other enemies, alongside some cutscenes and how force abilities work. Additionally, it shows players the chance to dual-wield lightsabers and use lightning powers.

“Vader Immortalholds a very special place in our hearts at ILMxLAB and we are very excited to be bringing this to PlayStation VR,” said ILMxLAB’s Harvey Whitney on thePlayStation Blog. “This allows even more fans to experience the firstStar Warsstory designed exclusively for virtual reality.”

Prior to being confirmed for PlayStation VR,Vader Immortalreleased on theOculus Storelast year. The story was broken up into three episodes which were $9.99 each. It isn’t the only notableStar Warsgame we’ve gotten recently. Last November, EA and Respawn releasedStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderon PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, we’re gettingStar Wars Squadronsfrom EA Motive on October 2.

Vader Immortalwasn’t the only game shown off during State of Play. We got a new look atCrash Bandicoot: It’s About Time,Hitman III,Bugnsnax, and more. Additionally, we got a look at upcoming PlayStation 5 games likeTemtem,The Pathless, andGodfall. As we get closer to the holiday season, let’s hope PlayStation does another State of Play with a PS5 release date, price, and launch lineup.
