Yes, you should. If they proceed,Tatiana will be recruited as a playable character, and the cure will be found. If you stop them, Tatiana won’t join your party, and you’ll obtain5 Elixirs, a consumable item that can revive an ally from the dead with 100% HP.
Elixirs are obviously useful items but there are other ways to heal in the form of Revival Orbs and Healing Tonics that can easily replace this item. On top of that,Tatiana is a Clericwho can later bepromoted to a Bishop, an extremelypowerful healing/supportclassuseful in any unit.
Stopping the experiments will result in Alain forcing Tatiana tohand over the research to the Liberation Army so that they can finish the cureusing moral methods. It’s unclear if this method is successful in developing the cure.
