The game is being considered asMinecraft’sbiggest challenger since it might be able to offer a lot more than it. This social sim draws along the same lines asMinecraftfor world-building with a more nuanced take on it.

Minecraft’s Monopoly Might End Soon

There are not many games likeMinecraft, and for a very long time,it has had the monopoly on the market. The game offers a unique blend of survival and creative elements that hook players to its enormous world.

There’s a lot of what you can build and create inMinecraft, including many complex creations as well. It is a game that satisfies the creative juices of most players out there. However, there had never been any sandbox game on the market that was a real threat toMinecraft. Well, that is until now.

It is believed that this next-gen title that Ubisoft is currently developing might change the way you look atMinecraft. The upcoming game will allow players to inhabit an island with interactive NPCs called Matterlings.

There is also a chance that the game will allow you to travel to distant lands on the map to acquire fascinating items. Each region will have a different species of Matterlings exclusive to that particular area. Additionally, you will need to gather materials, similar toMinecraft, to build stuff in the game, but the method of procurement will be vastly different.

There Is Still Time Before This Game Releases

Ubisoft Montreal has been developing the game for over 18 months now, and there is a high chance that it might take a couple more years to finish the game entirely.

Not much about the game has been revealed as of now. There is a high chance that with the release of this game, we might see a shift in how games likeMinecraftare perceived. However, this is also true thatMinecraftis not going anywhere anytime soon. It has a huge player base consisting of loyal fans who love spending time building stuff in its world.

Until more details about this upcoming game are released, it is very difficult to categorize it as a game that might pose a direct threat toMinecraft. There is, however, a chance it might follow along the same lines as it, but it is not certain whether or not it will compete with the game directly.
