The ambition of Two Point is to create a full Two Point County, a shared universe for all of its various simulation games to inhabit. Asenior artist job listingon parent company Sega’s website suggests the prospective employee could work on multiple Two Point games (thanks,TheGamer).

Taking Streets of Rage and Golden Axe 3D is a bold, intriguing move by Sega.

“Reporting to the Lead Artist, you’ll work closely with the internal art team at Two Point Studios, contributing to the art requirements and standards for our multiple projects in development…” the listing reads.

In other instances, the term games (plural) is used, strongly supporting that Two Point has multiple projects in its pipeline. With the prospect of a Two Point County shared universe firmly in the minds of Two Point Studios, there is limitless scope for the games it can create within its chosen genre.

There’s no way of telling how far off a new game is, but it’s heartening to learn that Two Point is actively recruiting.

The Two Point series is beloved for its status as a lighthearted simulation game, a contrast to some of the more punishing games of the genre. Two Point’s fluffy art style and comedic elements have proved a hit among players since the release of Two Point Hospital in 2018.
