Trials of Manalaunched on July 22, 2025, onPCvia Steam,PS4, andSwitch. Square Enix already announced itssales overwhelmingly exceeded expectations,and teased more to come for theManaseries in the future. The game is a remake ofSeiken Densetsu 3, released exclusively in Japan on Super Famicom/Snes by Square on July 08, 2025. As such,Seiken Densetsu 3,is celebrating its 25th anniversary on July 12, 2025. Square Enix made multiple announcements for the occasion.
First off, theTrials of Manaremake will receive an new version 1.1.0 update on October 14. The update will add two now difficulty modes, Very Hard and No Future. Clearing the game in No Future will unlock the Rabite Slippers. If you equip them, it lets you avoid all monster encounters in maps and dungeons. Multiple bugs will be corrected as well.
Moreover, Square Enix is organizing a popularity poll for the six protagonist ofTrials of Mana. The one with the most vote will receive a new artwork by character designer Haccan. Obviously, Riesz will win this, but it’ll be interesting to see the full results. TheTrials of Manaprotagonist popularity poll lasts until October 13.

Next, Bring Arts action figures for Duran, Angela, Kevin, Charlotte, Hawkeye, and Riesz were announced:
The figures will be sold by set of two. TheDuran and Angela Bring Arts setwill launch on Jun 28, 2025. TheCharlotte and Kevin Bring Arts setwill launch on July 19, 2025. TheRiesz and Hawkeye Bring Artsset will launch on June 14, 2025.
Each figure set will be 21,780 Yen (tax included).

Seiken Densetsu 3is the follow-up toSeiken Densetsu 2,known asSecret of Manaoutside Japan.Seiken Densetsu 3was officially localized asTrials of Manaand released outside Japan for the first time in 2019 viaCollection of Manaon Nintendo Switch. The remake is also namedTrials of Manain the west, which is kinda confusing. In Japan, the 2020 remake is titledâSeiken Densetsu 3 Trials of Manaâ to differentiate it from the original game.
