MultiVersusgets some flack online for its character skins, as some of them are very obscure. However, it is the obscurity of these skins that make them all the more interesting. They tell players a story. Many skins that players unlock can be looked up, and players will see that they belong to some part of the lore or the character’s side story. This makes each skin intriguing as all of the skins feel like they were made for fans.

In this list, players should expect to find skins with great backstories, interesting in-game changes, and great design.

1010/10 Superman – One Million

Superman One Million is a mysterious version of the Kryptonian superhero. He is from the One Million comic series and is one of the most powerful superheroes and renditions of Superman. This happens as he spends tens of thousands of years in the sun, making him a part of the star with godlike power.

Playing this version of Superman feels great if you know about his backstory. The only problem is sometimes he does look like a golden Superman with bright eyes. However, that doesn’t take away his interesting back story.

Beach Giant Iron Giant Skin

99/10 Iron Giant – Beach Giant

The Beach Giant variant skin forIron Giantis really fun to play with. The skin has a giant pink flamingo floaty that has fun physics when Iron Giant is doing different moves or simply running around the map. He also has a hat to block the sunrays and some swim trunks and sandals.

This costume is a nice little gag to pull out on unsuspecting players, and many of them may have never witnessed it before. Using his cannonball move with this skin is also a great touch. Other than that, it might not be the best way to spend money unless players enjoy going all out with this aesthetic.

Kung Fu Shaggy Doing Bruce Lee Nose Scratch Pose

88/10 Shaggy – Kung Fu Shaggy

There is so much to say about Kung Fu Shaggy as he makes sense in this game. He has a Game of Death Bruce Lee-style outfit. The yellow and black added to his pants make it almost symbolic of Lee’s famous yellow jumpsuit.

All of Shaggy’s attacks look fitting to this outfit. It takes away from the goofy and serious fighting dichotomy that the regular Shaggy’s outfit has, but it makes him a little cooler overall, though.

Bugs Bunny As Brunhilde Bugs

77/10 Bugs Bunny – Brunhilde Bugs

TheBugs BunnyBrunhilde Bugs skin is a throwback to a 1957 cartoon that featured Bugs Bunny. It is a well-designed skin with many elements to add to its allure. It features a lot of golden yellow tones that are contrasted by piercing pinks.

The attention to detail on the skin is great, as the pink eye shadow stands out while Bugs Bunny searches for items in his box. As with many other skins, the developers paid attention to making this skin feel natural in its movements.

Samruai Batman Versus Regular Batman

66/10 Batman – Samurai

This Samurai Batman skin is one of the most interesting that the game has to offer. All of the small parts it includes make it look great. The torn-up cape moves with Batman’s momentum showing it off with every attack that he deals on his opponent.

It would have been a plus if the game made Batman’s grappling hook change with the skin. His Batarang also stays the same, so that would’ve been a nice bonus as well. The skin is still interesting nonetheless, but the legendary status leaves players wanting more.

55/10 Reindog – Battle

TheReindog Battle skinis nothing less than impeccable. The armor movements give Reindog’s attacks more weight and power. The armor is reminiscent of old Greek armor, which adds a sense of mystique to its style. Also, it’s one of the cutest variants that the game has to offer.

It’s hard to take Reindog seriously when it looks like he’s constantly forming a smile and lugging around large plates of armor. It all adds to the joy of having this skin and brings smiles to anyone’s face.

44/10 LeBron James – I’m Freakin' Robin

The ‘I’m Freakin’ Robin' skin is a little toast to the Space Jam: A New Legacy. It is the LeBron in the Robin costume that many players never knew they wanted. The way the skin moves with LeBron’s different attacks makes it feel natural to the character. Plenty of moves in LeBron’s kit will make players feel like he’s a true superhero flying through the air.

It’s a fun addition to the game and is one of the skins players could unlock in the season one battle pass system at level 50.

The Mad LoveHarley Quinnskin is based on an iteration of Harley Quinn from a Batman comic titled “The Batman Adventures: Mad Love.” This rendition of Harley Quinn also has an animated episode. It’s kind of a bittersweet skin as the comic goes through the start of Joker and Harley’s terrible relationship.

The skin has menacing black, red, and white tones. It is reminiscent of an actual harlequin with diamonds all around her outfit.

22/10 Jake The Dog – Cake

Cake is the gender-swapped version of Jake that appears in Adventure Time. Cake was really cute as it allowed players to be a cat version of Jake. All of Cake’s different transformations have catlike features. These look interesting on the car that Jake turns into. It adds a much more pleasing aesthetic to objects and is much better than the original bland mustard yellow that Jake provides.

All of Jake’s voice lines are also changed to entirely new ones - voiced by a female voice actress. It’s nice to see all the extra effort put into this skin.

11/10 Jake The Dog – Jake The Starchild

Jake the Dog has the best skins in the game. The Jake the Starchild skin is taken from an Adventure Time episode where Jake finds his real dad. The skin looks very similar to that of the show, but its three-dimensional texture makes it look like something out of Rick and Morty. The skin looks great and also a little creepy but in the best way.

All of his attacks morph into the skin as well as moves where he turns into his horse version or different items, all looking incredible in their alien forms.
