The third and final season ofBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Waris most likely going to get a release date this year, and it will change the entire history of Tite Kubo’s magnum opus. Fans have been waiting for the longest time for the most important arc of theBleachmanga series to get animated and hit the screens.

However, as they wait, some fans might have found a big flaw in the narrative ofBleachthat might have affected their whole perspective of one of the biggest anime and manga series of all time. This flaw points out Kubo’s inability to perfectly portray the strong characters in the series and make them look deserving of their titles.
A Reddit discussion led fans to believe that Kubo might not have correctly drawn the power scaling inBleach, and this led to a lot of confusion. This started in the sixth season of the series, which featured the Arrancar arc, and also made its way intoBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.

Tite Kubo’s Unfair Power Scaling inBleach
According tou/tthelssj, Kubo is awful at showing off the strongest characters. This was noticed by the power scalings of the Espada, the ten top-ranked and most powerful Arrancars in Sosuke Aizen’s army of Hollows. In the anime, Yammy is the zero Espada, which ideally makes him the strongest Arrancar in the entire army.

However, he lacked talent and skills and was easily defeated by Byakuya and Kenpachi. Granted that it took two Soul Reaper Captains, but they didn’t even give their entire focus to the fight. Compared to him,Ulquiorra had more power and skills, and he even proved to be the toughest Arrancar while fighting Ichigo.
Another thing that proved the unfair power scaling of Kubo was the ranks of the Espada. There were many instances where the Arrancar with the smaller rank proved to be a harder fight than the top four Espada. These did not justify the power scalings of the villains and confusedBleachfans a lot.

Fans Are Disappointed With Tite Kubo
According to the discussion,Tite Kubo’sinability to show off the strongest character was also reflected inBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warwith the introduction of Gremmy, a Sternritter with the designation V: The Visionary. Gremmy was considered the strongest Sternritter, making him the biggest threat, buthe was defeated by Kenpachiwithout even taking off his eye patch.
Fans were pretty disappointed to find out about these shortcomings in theBleachseries, and they expressed their sadness with the Reddit post.

While some fans tried to justify Kubo’s intention, others realized more mistakes made by the creator in the series.

All these points have led fans to consider that Kubo needs to work on a better portrayal of strong characters in the upcoming season. It will be the most important arc as it will bring an end to the war between Quincy and Soul Reapers and ultimately conclude the series that has been going on for too long.
