Getting a call from Jennifer Lopez is unbelievable, even for a popular comedian like Trevor Noah. The comedian recently explained that it wasn’t just a normal call, but an opportunity to star in Lopez’s upcoming Prime Video musical filmThis Is Me… Now: A Love Story. This musical film is all set to release on 16th February alongside her ninth studio albumThis Is Me… Now.
The musical focuses on Lopez’s love life as she navigates through the lavish Hollywood life. Not just Noah, the musical also features Fat Joe, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sadhguru, Derek Hough and obviously,Lopez’s husband, Ben Affleck.

In his recent interview withPeople, comedianTrevor Noahadmitted that he thought it was a prank when he got a call from singer/actressJennifer Lopez. The comedian said,
“That was a random call where your phone rings, and it’s Jennifer Lopez, and you’re like, ‘This must be a prank,’ and she wants you to come and do a cameo in her visual experience, and you’re like, ‘Whoa. I mean, I don’t know what I’m doing, but OK, I’ll join in.'”
Lopez offered him a part in her upcoming Prime Video musical filmThis Is Me… Now: A Love Story, which will be released on 16th February with her ninth studio albumThis Is Me… Now. Earlier this month, the singerposted the trailer of the musical, which is all set to put a spotlight on Lopez’s love life.
Trevor Noah agreed to star in the musical without knowing what it was about
Further in the interview, Noah explained that he doesn’t know what the musical is about. He only got his lines so he is also as excited as the fans,
“I’m really excited to see what it is. The funny thing is I don’t know too much about it because they were very secretive about how they did it. I only know about my parts of what it is, but I don’t know about all of it. I too am waiting to see what it’s going to be.”
Noah added that it was fun working with so many Hollywood stars to celebrate an icon, adding that Lopez “really just blazed her own trail.”This Is Me… Now: A Love Storyis coming to Prime Video on 16th February 2024.
