Before passing away, Kentarou Miura gifted the fans one of the best manga ever. He created a masterpiece with one of the most iconic rivalries ever. Kentarou Miura really went from being bad at creating manga panels to becoming one of the best mangakas.
Kentarou Miura’s Manga Panels Were Not up To the Mark
Kentarou Miura had a knack for drawing during his childhood. He used to copy Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Fujihiko Hosono. After copying them, he tried to explore the manga world by drawing manga-like pictures. Having opted for fine arts, he was good at drawing, but manga was different from drawing. Miura sensei had difficulty drawing manga panels but was fascinated by it. He tried to blend over-the-top and intricate stories with his imagination to give birth to something new.

When talking about his weakness indrawing manga panels, Kentarou Miura said,
“You know how they said on [the TV show] Manga Yawa that I was bad at drawing? They’re absolutely right. Ever since high school, I’ve been trying all sorts of different things to combine being good at drawing reality with being good at drawing manga art. If I were doing a story like Fist of the North Star, I would be able to really concentrate entirely on just drawing well.”

Even though he left no place for complaints, he found satisfaction with his work much later. Initially, he took inspiration from other popular manga of his time but was careful not to get too carried. After much difficulty, he developed his personal style, which made him the Leonardo Da Vinci of his drawing manga panels.
