The world of Greek mythology has found new life in the animated seriesBlood of Zeus, with its blend of ancient lore and original storytelling. As the show’s second season comes to a close, fans are left eagerly anticipating what’s next for their favorite characters. However, one character in particular stands out as a beacon of potential for the series’ future, Seraphim, the complex anti-hero voiced by Elias Toufexis.

Initially, he was introduced as a formidable antagonist. But his journey from villain to a morally conflicted co-lead has not only added depth to the show’s narrative but also opened up a wealth of storytelling possibilities.
From Antagonist to Complex Co-Lead in Blood of Zeus
In an exclusive interview byButwhytho?, Elias Toufexis shed light on Seraphim’s character arc, describing a journey that is far from complete. The ongoing evolution suggests that his story is potentially serving as a cornerstone for future seasons or even a spin-off series.
He revealed:
His redemption arc is there but it’s not complete by the end of the show. [And it] may never be actually fully complete – he has a lot more to go…Even though he does take giant steps—No pun intended.

He stated:
I just think of Seraphim. I hope that people get really interested in what they’re trying to do with him, and by the end of the season, they go, There’s a lot more to come with this guy.
