The Walking Deadfranchise has been going strong for well over 15 years, and video games have been a great part of its success. Thanks to acclaimed titles like Telltale Games’The Walking Dead, the post-apocalyptic series has found interesting ways to continue its story of survival through video games. That has included this year’s release ofThe Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, which had a surprise launch today for PlayStation VR owners.
Publisher Skydance Interactive has announced thatThe Walking Dead: Saints & Sinnersis now available on PlayStation VR following its debut earlier this year on PC. The VR-focused titlecan be purchased for $39.99 from the PlayStation Storeright now.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinnersis set in the universe of the original comic series and follows a survivor exploring parts of New Orleans in the midst of the walker outbreak. Played in first-person, players will have to venture through the remains of New Orleans to find other survivors and use a variety of weapons in order to ward off incoming walkers.
A few months before the game’s release, our own Allisa James got to check out the game last fall andshared her impressions onSaints & Sinnersas a VR-driven first-person experience. Overall, Allisa seemed to have a great time with the game and how it immersed her in the world of the iconic franchise. I myself got to play a bit of the game at New York Comic Con last year and similarly, I came away from the demo impressed withSaints & Sinners. Alongside games likeHalf-Life: Alyx, it definitely seems like one of the showpiece games for what VR can do, and now PlayStation VR owners will get the chance to check it out for themselves.
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinnersis available now on PlayStation VR and a variety of VR platforms on PC, including Oculus, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and more.
