More onTatami Galaxy, Science Saru
The Tatami Galaxyis originally a novel written by Tomohiko Morimi. The anime series was first aired a decade ago in 2010. it’s an atypical anime with an unique style. With comedy and psychological thmes, the story follows an unnamed university student and the various choices they’re facing.
The first anime was directed by Masaaki Yuasa, who’s known forDevilman Crybaby,Mind Game,orPing Pong. Masaaki Yuasa also directedLife is Short, Walk On Girl,a movie also based on a novel by Tomohiiko Morimi. It’ll be interesting to see how the new sequel fares without Yuasa directly directing the show himself. It’s very likely he’ll work on it eiher way, seeing Yuasa is the cofounder of Science Saru in the first place.
