However,YouTuber PushingButtonscapitalized on the hype of theSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatedirect, retooling the new single player mode’s trailer with the audio fromAvengers: Infinity War. The result is hilarious and well worth the watch, if you have three minutes on hand.
If you haven’t seen the new mode’s trailer yet, you will instantly understand why theAvengers: Infinity Warcomparison is being made. After being bombarded by hundreds of Master Hands, the entire roster ofSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatecharacters effectively get “snapped” out of existence. Kirby, the sole surviving member of the Nintendo-themed fighting game, then travels through multiple themed worlds to save the world.
Seen in the trailer below, the trailer is spliced up footage from the Direct as well as otherSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatepromotional videos. Even crazier, this trailer was produced only five hours after the reveal of the mode–proving that the meme game is only getting strong each and every day.
