Fans of theGame of Thronessaga have a lot to look forward to as several projects have been teased to be brewing in the headquarters. George RR Martin has been sharing updates on his blog on what to expect in the years to come, and he surprisingly told his readers that ifThe Hedge Knightemerges as a hit, he will be prepping for two more shows as a sweet treat.

On top of these projects, fans are also anticipating the third installment of HBO’sHouse of the Dragon. The previous season ended on a cliffhanger just as a highly anticipated battle begins, so there’s quite a lot of indulgence in store for the viewers.
George RR Martin Teased Fans With Possible Two New Spinoff Series
Most updates for all thingsGame of Thronesusually come fromGeorge RR Martin’s own site. A few months ago, he announced that the spinoff seriesA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which is based onThe Hedge Knightfrom theTales of Dunk and Eggseries, is officially coming to HBO in 2025.
The show will be much shorter than the original series andHouse of the Dragonand will convey a different tone, although he assured fans that it is still set in Westeros. Furthermore, herevealed:

The show will make its debut next year… and if it does well, THE SWORN SWORD and THE MYSTERY KNIGHT will follow.
For those who aren’t familiar,The Sworn SwordandThe Mystery Knightare also part of theTales of Dunk and Eggseries, published in 2003 and 2017, respectively.

So far, three stories have been released under the novel collection, and Martin has expressed interest in continuing the series. In his blog, he promised to work on some more Dunk and Egg tales after he finishesThe Winds of Winter.

Martin shared a couple of set photos on his blog, and he reflected that even though it has a much smaller budget compared toGame of ThronesandHouse of the Dragon, he wants it to be as great as the two popular shows.
