After a lot of waiting, fans finally have gameplay and details about theElden RingDLCShadow of the Erdtree. Thanks to a very anticipated trailer, the price, release date, and editions of the content were revealed.
Fans are extremely excited about this DLC. The creator ofElden Ring, Hidetaka Miyazaki, talked in different interviews about all that you could see in the trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree. Miyazaki gives many details and information about this DLC, including the names and backgrounds of the new bosses.
The Shadow of the Erdtree will bring a whole new level to Elden Ring
Back in March 2023,Shadow of the Erdtreewas announced, and after that, there was a complete silence from Bandai Namco and From Software until now. Thanks to the new gameplay, the release date was finally confirmed.

With all the excitement aboutElden Ringonce again, the director of the game, Hidetaka Miyazaki, gave several interviews talking about the game, details, maps, weapons, and especially the bosses. The director gave a ton of new information with spoilers to fans so they could enjoy the experience ofShadow of the Erdtree.
In aninterview, Miyazaki was asked about the new bosses that you’re able to see in the trailer. As Miyazaki named it, Mitchell is the big fire boss full of bodies that have a sun-face statue glued to the body; you can see him at the 1:12 minute mark of the trailer. Miyazaki said the following“was a terrible weapon you used in a war that occurred in the Land of Shadow, basically. So again, without saying too much, we can’t give away the name just yet officially, but yes, it was a really gruesome weapon that was used.”
The bosses will be very complicated to defeat
From Software always gives a very shady touch to the origins of the bosses and characters in its games. The new gigantic boss, currently referred to as Mitchell, features bodies hanging out from the fire—a unique detail crafted by the development team. This will not be the only new boss with a terrifying origin. This particular character was created as a weapon in a war. In the interview, Miyazaki gave more details about the other bosses in the trailer.

Many new things were added to this new DLC. Weapons, spells, new places, and more than 10 bosses, according to Miyazaki, Shadow of the Erdtree will be available on June 21 for a price of $39.99. This content requires anElden Ringbase game to be played. The content will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
