Naughty Dog’sThe Last of Us Part 2is still very much ahot topic of conversation. Many praise the game for its ballsy approach to how it covered the romantic relationship between Ellie and Dina and how the studio portrayed Abby as a non-stereotypical woman that players are used to seeing throughout various video games. Of course, there’s the whole debate around Joel being killed off that made many gamers furious, too. As we set our sights on what Naughty Dog will bring next in the continuation ofThe Last of Us Part 2,an artist has created an image of Ellie which could give us a sneak peek into how she could look inPart 3.

Instagram artist popovajr_art has sketched a beautiful portrait of the one and onlyEllie fromThe Last of Us Part 2in which we see that all too familiar sorrowful face. Although there’s no mistaking that it’s Ellie, she has seemed to have aged quite a bit from when we had last seen her. The artist has matured Ellie in ways where we could see her, if and when we getThe Last of Us Part 3,or whatever the title could be called by then.

With her trademark freckles still on show and those “I’ve seen too much” eyes, Ellie’s hair has seemingly grown out and has become fuller in this illustration. When we saw Ellie last, it was walking away from the farmhouse she shared with Dina and JJ. Back then we saw her with short, neck length hair but now, and since the years have passed, we see Ellie as a young woman somewhere around 24 or 25. Could this be howElliewould look whenever we get to see her again? It certainly stacks up.
