Katt Williams’ bold statements about Hollywood celebrities are nothing new. For years, the comedian has worked just as hard on his jokes as his roasts of several Hollywood stars. In light of the same theme, at the beginning of this year, he appeared in an interview where he proceeded to call out several more such celebrities. From contemporary comedians like Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, and Cederick the Entertainer, to music moguls like Kanye West, and P. Diddy.

However, whereas he called out Diddy regarding the major allegations against him, before his eventual arrest for the charges later this year, his approach to West seemed much more sympathetic. What was actually surprising, though, was the way he referred to Kanye West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Although he tried to amend his statement saying he did not necessarily mean it like that, his comment was nothing but distasteful.

Katt Williams Made A Distasteful Comment About Kim Kardashian

Appearing in Shannon Sharpe’s podcastClub Shay Shayin January 2024,Kat Williamsstated his opinion on Kanye West’s situation. Responding to the host’s question regarding his opinion on the Yeezy founder’s rants, he said,

I suspect that we are pretty awful people, if we say somebody got a mental illness and then watch what they do. If you say somebody got special needs, then why would you be watching them and holding them accountable like everybody else?

He further explained that it was always the people who put him on a pedestal like a God and called him a genius, so it was inevitable that it would get to his head and cause trouble later on. However, his statement regarding Kanye West’s ex-wife was less than flattering.

While he agreed that West had issues going on and even seemed somewhat sympathetic towards him, when it came toKim Kardashian, his approach was downright brutal.

P Diddy’s Role in Kanye West Getting Married to Kim Kardashian

While trying to explain how deep the rapper’s issues go, he said,“He married a wh*re”. Although he amended his statement saying he did not mean it like that, a lot of people obviously found it more than distasteful. According to him, what he meant was that it was concerning that Ye wanted that kind of life for himself.

I mean, [he] married her because she was one. Not like he didn’t know. He understood…that he wanted that. He courted that. That’s what he wanted to base his family on.

Things took a worse turn, however, when Sharpe suggested that she may have a good heart. In response, Williams looked at him sarcastically and stated that she wouldn’t have then gotten involved withPete Davidson, if what he was saying was inaccurate. He doubled down on it by saying,

And if you weren’t even good enough for Pete, and he leaves you. What does it mean the product was.

Although a lot of people agreed with his statement and got a good chuckle out of it, the choice of words seems to have offended just as many people. In any case, it definitely did not stop the comedian from getting louder with his statements throughout the year.

Katt Williams Called Out P. Diddy Before His Arrest

Katt Williams was also one of the first people to call out the Bad Boy Productions founder,Sean “Diddy” Combsfollowing the allegations against him late last year. Although, the raids in his Florida and Los Angeles homes were months away, as was his arrest following the multiple sx trafficking, sxual assault, dr*g racketeering charges.

In the same podcast he mentioned that when Kanye West decided to start a Church but kept cussing, nobody in Black Church came out to stop him. He stated that one would think all of the pastors would come and tell him that he can’t continue what he is doing as keeps cursing out people, but strangely nobody did.

‘Cause T.D. Jakes’ over there with P. Diddy.

Referring to the celebrity pastor, Thomas Dexter Jakes, famous for his motivational speeches, who was alleged to be involved in a case against P. Diddy earlier this year. Williams concluded by saying that everybody who says they love the truth should love the truth coming to light. Apparently, that is what the year 2024 is about, and truth, according to him, is light.

When it comes toKanye West, though, he mentioned that he neither villainizes him nor supports him in any sense. If anything, according to him, people’ should stop scrutinizing his every move and giving him a platform to say or do something even more outrageous.
