The Finalshas been making waves in the online first-person shooter community. Built by the devs who craftedBattlefield, the intense objective-based game is currently in the prime of its first season, with fresh maps and game modes.

In the game’s next update, players are going to dive into a huge new game mode, along with new cosmetics and balance changes to look forward to. This is going to be an experimental game mode, but might just stay here if things work out.
The Finals is getting a new solo mode, along with balance changes and new cosmetics
Essentially, teams of three take part inThe Finals, where they’re either trying to get hold of an objective or stealing cash from one another to deposit into a cash box. Both of these game modes have been popular throughout the last few months, and it seems that the devs haven’t finished cooking up some new plans for the game.
In update 1.5.0, the game is bringing in a fresh solo mode, which is called Solo Bank It. This limited-time mode will put players against each other, and quick kills along with cash grabs will set the tone for the mode. This has been a highly anticipated game mode, but no one really saw it coming so soon to the game.

Update 1.5.0 arrives tomorrow! It comes with balance changes, bug fixes, a bigger store, better security, and Solo Bank It — our first limited-time game mode! See you in the arena, contestants! 💥#REACHTHEFINALSpic.twitter.com/DuJWekVD7H
Along with the exciting new mode, multiple balance updates are coming. This will likely change how weapons and items work, shifting the meta between Lights, Heavies, and Mediums. The three classes are unique in their own ways, and the next update will shift the tides a little. Hopefully, this will make the game a little more balanced.

Light build characters might get their chance to shine in the new mode
As traditions follow; the fast-paced ones take most of the kills inThe Finals. This isn’t to say that Mediums or Heavies are any less useful. Rather, Lights will finally find a place where their neat range of weapons and stealthy abilities will be put to the right use.
It’s a common controversy between players that Lights usually don’t play well in team-based fights and completely ignore the objective. However, with Solo Bank It coming into the arena, Light players are free to use their ‘skills for kills’ in a way that works for them. This raises the question; how will Heavies and Mediums really play into this new game mode?

SOLO MODE???? APEX WOULD NEVER 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Despite Solo Bank It being an LTM, devs have mentioned how this is an experimental game mode. Meaning, that if things work out, maybe the solo mode will be here to stay. This is a sigh of relief for everyone who playsThe Finalson their own, matching with random teammates who create more problems rather than synergy with their fellow players.
Funnily, games likeApex LegendsandRainbow Six Siegeoften struggle to have an entirely exclusive solo mode, even though devs may have tried this at some point in time. The Finalsis climbing the ladder of competitive game modes, and a solo mode that works will do wonders for the entire community.

There is also a fresh bunch of cosmetics coming to the store, so if you’re piling up real cash to spend on your in-game sense of style, now might be the time. Moreover, the Battle Pass rewards are already something to look forward to.
