Soon after it was announced, Dealabs Magazine’s reputable leakerBillbil-kunrevealed that they’d found new details on the DLC. Billbil-kun claimed that they have found that the long-awaitedElden RingDLC will be released on August 16, 2025, a few months after the gameplay reveal.
The leaker revealed that they are“not 100% certain”about this but are expecting this to be the release date of the expansion due to the new special editions of the game that are set to be released on that date across platforms, including a Game of the Year edition and Collector’s Edition.

Billbil-kun has leaked ample information in the past about PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games Store, and several unannounced games, among others, ahead of time. The majority of the leaks shared by the leaker have turned out to be accurate, so the expansion release date could also be true. However, despite the accuracy of Billbil-kun in the past,Elden Ringfans are advised to take this leak with a grain of salt and hope that FromSoftware gives out a release date.

Additional Details About the New Elden Ring Game Editions
Billbil-kun revealed that the two new special editions of the game, the Game of the Year edition and the Collector’s Edition, will launch on June 21 in both digital and physical versions. They added that both of these editions will have theElden RingDLC included, meaning that players will not need to get the standalone game. They also shared the prices for the special editions ofElden Ring.
TheElden RingGame of the Year edition will reportedly cost players 79.99 euros, and the Collector’s Edition will cost 259.99 euros, which roughly translates to around $89.99 and $299. Both of these special editions will have physical copies for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series X, and the Collector’s Edition will also have a copy for the PC.
