Reddit believes that Toph was just an addition to Team Avatar

Reddit useru/CoolCook26made a post onThe Last Airbendersubreddit, asking the fans who they would boot from the team if the choice came down to Aang, Katara, Sokka or Toph. Suprisingly, a fews fans believe that Toph is actually just an add on for the team, and not an integral part of it.

While the consensus is so that ther was already a season without Toph, it must be noted that Toph was sought by the group as a master for Aang. Toph’s metalbending skills and other abilities were the reason the Gaang were able to escape some high stress situations. Not only did Toph teach Aang mental bending, but she was also the reason a huge part of the Fire Nation assault force was basically rendered useless.
