Even though many fans seemed to bedisappointed with Sonic’s look in his upcoming feature-length film, it seems that hasn’t dissuaded them from picking up The Blue Blur’s latest game.
In its debut week,Team Sonic Racingsnagged the top spot of the weekly UK sales chart. Sonic surpassed last week’s winner,Rage 2, and in the process, snagged its first number one overall spot for a Sonic title since the release ofMario & Sonic at the Olympic Gamesback in 2008.
As for the other entries on this week’s list, it features more of what we’ve come to expect. Sony’sDays Goneheld strong this past week and continues to sit at number two overall whileFIFA 19also held firm at third.Rage 2then dropped into fourth whileRed Dead Redemption 2once again rounded out the top five.
In the realm of additional new releases,Assassin’s Creed III Remasteredcame to Switchwhich propelled it to 15th overall. Meanwhile,Everybody’s Golf VRalso landed on PSVR headsets and ended up slotting in at 22nd.
