It has kept him and his loved ones safe from harm and allows Superman to keep saving planet Earth on his own account. However,Superman & Loishas finally decided that enough is enough – it’s time for Clark Kent to meet the world.

Now, one of the recent episodes of Todd Helbing’s series has done what neither Henry Cavill nor Christopher Reeve were able to bring themselves to do – face reveal.

in the seventh episode of season four, the Kents realize just how much their secret was hurting those around them. Clark Kent was clearly tired of the toll his huge secret was taking on him and he decided to come out of hiding, once and for all.

Soon after, Daily Planet’s Janet Olsen brings Clark on air where he reveals to the world that he is, in fact, Superman. While the aptly episode titledA Regular Guydoesn’t feature Superman’s iconic battles with crazy villains, it is equally important in the series.
This is Clark fighting with his own self and deciding to do what is right – he is Superman after all, the beacon of goodness. Of course, coming clean is not going to be all rainbows and butterflies and Clark will now have to deal with the legal aspect of it all. Moreover, the Kents can say goodbye to having a speck of normalcy in their lives now.
After all, the right thing seldom comes without a hefty price tag. But hey, at least Clark and Jimmy Olsen have reconciled!

Remember when Lois Lane jumped into Niagara Falls inSuperman II(1980) to get Clark to admit that he is Superman? Well, keeping his hidden identity hidden was so important to him that while he did all he could to save the girl, he also successfully kept his secret. That’s how Superman has been since forever. Of course, it all changed with Hoechlin’s version of the character.

Superman & Lois’ scene at the diner was brilliant. From the slow-mo shot to the eye contact between Clark and Lois to him ripping off his shirt to reveal the “S,” everything was simply perfection.
We might even say that this was one of the best live-action superhero reveals of all time. Judging by the fans’ reaction to it all, it seems like we are on the same page.

Unfortunately, we won’t get to see much of Clark’s life after the unveiling since the show is coming to an end soon. The series finale, which is to be released on December 02, is titledIt Went By So Fast,and honestly, that’s exactly how we feel.
