Completing The Obstacle Course
To get this weapon, you will first need to head on over toBowser’s Keep. Here you will find6 red doors. It is not the best idea to try each door in ascending order, as the door you will need togo through is the last one, number 6. Once you pass through this door, you will see a message in the top left corner that statesyou will get 10 triesto complete the gauntlet of an obstacle course that lays before you.
The first obstacle is aseries of floating squaresthat will be moving about. Once you land on one of them,you do not need to rushto get to the next one. It is perfectly fine and safe to just stand andwait for the next safe jumpto become apparent. Play itslow and steady, and you will make it to the doors to the next obstacle.
For the second obstacle,jump onto the cannonballand then move it to theother side of the room— avoiding the enemies. You can collect all the coins and boxes on your way. Once you get to the other side, you will see apillar near the red door. Jump from the cannonball to this pillar, and thenfrom this pillar to the red doorto pass through it.
Again, you will findsome floating squares— but only 2 this time. When you jump on one of them,the other will start orbiting around you. Like last time, just take it slow andjump when you are confident.There are several chests in this room to collect, but the path to the Sonic Cymbals will be on theside opposite where you entered.
Getting The Sonic Cymbals
After following the path from the previous section, you will be in a room and see afloating chest in the middle of it.Jump from beneath the chest to claim your reward. This is a unique weapon for the playable characterMallow.
