Although Undead Labs officially confirmed working onState of Decay 3with a cinematic trailer in Xbox Games Showcase last year, it doesn’t mean the developer is done withState of Decay 2. The gamewill still receive support and new content, and theState of Decay 2Update 24 patch notes prove that Undead Labs still has big plans for its ongoing post-apocalyptic adventure.

Yesterday on February 8,State of Decay 2Update 24 went live and brought some anticipated features to the game such as Mouse & Keyboard support for console players. The first noticeable addition to the game which is actually a gift from Undead Labs to all State of Decay 2 players is a new T-shirt inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement that will be available in your closet once you log in to the game.

The next big change coming to the game is the new wave of recruiting. As of now, you’re able to recruit every non-hostile ambient enclave that is not involved in a mission or situation by paying some influence. The only thing you need to do is to contact a new enclave using radio and have a meeting. Here are the full details:

Moreover, the update has brought the Trumbull Valley Pack which includes six weapons, four outfits, and the Improvised Weapon Station that allows you to craft various useful weapons.

As of next month, Bounty Broker packs will have a new scheduled cycle, which means by the beginning of every month, a new pack will be replaced by another one. For example, the Pawn Shop Pack is supposed to be added to the game in March while the Fearsome Footage Pack will be removed. At the end of the cycle, Fearsome Footage will eventually return.

Last but not least, State of Decay 2 now supports Mouse & Keyboard on the Xbox consoles, which means you are no longer forced to use controllers if you’d like to play the game with Mouse & Keyboard.
