Thus, when theTedstar recently opened up about the studio contacting him to start growing a mustache for the second film in the series toScreenRant, it didn’t come as much as a surprise as a sigh of relief.
The star said that he was called by Sony to look exactly like his character Victor Sullivan from the end credit scenes of the first film also featuringTom Hollandas the protagonist because the script of the upcoming film has just arrived, which is easier said than done for him since he cannot grow a beard naturally. He said:
“Actually, I just got a call today that they got the script in.I can’t grow a real beard andmustache, but they said, ‘Start growing yourmustache.It’s gonna take awhile.’ I’d be interested to see what the story’s like, and where that adventure takes us. But I’m excited; I know audiences really loved the first one, so we’ll see.”
While he may be aching to dig into this new adventure in the future as soon as the film starts production, he’ll need some major medical help with that mustache in the meantime.
