A Starfield player has re-discovered a monumental easter egg that references the Leaning Tower of Pisa. While this isn’t a new discovery, many members of the community have been left baffled due to its rarity.
Reddit userSignal-Ad9524took to the Starfield subreddit earlier today to share an image in front of the tower. As to how they discovered it, they said, “There’s no book for this location, it’s hidden in the game, I had to land exactly in the right spot (it can take a few tries).. if you land correctly there’s also a secret snow globe there.”

Starfield Players Desperately Urge Bethesda To Add Mechs In Future Update
Players think it’s “stupid” that they’re not already available.
Unlike other locations in Starfield, the Leaning Tower of Pisa can be a tricky one to find, mainly due to the fact that it doesn’t have a book to guide players to it. The tower can be found on Earth inside of the Sol System, along with various other easter eggs such as the Burj Khalifa, Shanghai Tower, The Pyramids, and more.
All of these locations can be discovered thanks to books that indicate where the player needs to go. Apart from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is incredibly well hidden. If you want to find it, you’re going to need a little bit of luck.

Assuming that you’ve already discovered theLondon landmark on Earth, head southeast and land your ship roughly where you’d expect the Leaning Tower of Pisa to be in real life. It might take you a few attempts, but it’s, unfortunately, the only way to discover it as of writing.
While there were plenty of users amazed by the easter egg, some took shots at the game’s realism. “So let me get this straight. Nearly every building on Earth has been destroyed or buried beneath the sands, yet the leaning tower which has been trying its hardest for a few centuries to fall over, is one of the few bits still there?” one user said. Another player said that it is “pretty ridiculous” that almost nothing but some monuments survived.

Given that Starfield has well over a thousand planets, it’s understandable as to why Earth isn’t more of a detailed, post-apocalyptic wasteland. While Starfield does use procedural generation, there are plenty of hand-crafted elements too. It’s also not new for Bethesda, as Todd Howard said in an interview withIGN:
“We do a lot of procedural generation [in Starfield], but I would keep in mind that we’ve always done that. It’s a big part of Skyrim in terms of questing and some other things we do. We generate landscape using procedural systems, so we’ve always kind of worked on it.”
