Newcreative directorDrew Rechner hasdelivered on his promisesto improve the game’s feeling, with patch 1.4 fixing a lot of gripes players had early on.

Star Wars: Outlaws Title Update 1.4.0
As is becoming tradition withOutlaws, this patch is a beefy one.The update measures 7.44 GB on PlayStation 5, 10.18 GB on Xbox, and 8.83 GB on PC.
There are plenty of fixes and QoL improvements here, but none are as important as the rebalancedstealth mechanics.

There are some important fixes to story missions as well, but these contain spoilers. you may check them out onthe game’s page, at your peril.
Improved Stealth and Combat
According to the patch notes on the game’s page, players now have more agency when infiltrating hostile areas.
You cancomplete missions sneakily, shoot your way out, or transition from one to the other as the situation develops. This includes being able to blast your way through syndicate territories.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Gets Upgrades With PS5 Pro Release
EA has announced multiple upgrades for Star War’s Jedi: Survivor with the release of the PS5 Pro.
The enemy AI now feels closer to that of the stealth bibleMetal Gear, giving you a warning when you are about to be detected.

Enemies have tags above their heads that display their state(white for neutral, orange for aware, and red for in combat).
This will give you a few seconds to decide whether you react by moving to cover or shooting it out.

For those inclined to violence, enemies now have weak pointsthat trigger new death animations, and offer some creative solutions in a pinch. Should you trigger an explosion, enemies will now be staggered by it.
Kay can now carry two-handed weapons more often (including on speeders), headshots inflict more damage, and blasters were tuned to make combat more rewarding.
Quality-of-Life
On the QoL side, you now have more control authority in the air, which makes it easier to nail tricky jumps.
Climbing is less laborious thanks to an auto-transfer option that makes you hop between climbable objects without pressing anything.

On the game map, you may now remove all markers by holding the corresponding button down, instead of picking them off individually.
Visual Upgrades
Gameplay dialogue is no longer uncanny thanks to facial animations on vendors and NPCs. On top of that, the camera movements while fighting are more refined, with a new ability to shoulder swap manually.
Controller gamers get a massive boost with the Custom control preset. This lets you individually remap buttons and includes separate settings for Kay, the speeder, and the Trailblazer.
Community Bug Reporter
In the spirit of community outreach,Star Wars Outlawsnow has a community bug trackerwebsite. This lets you visualize existing bugs and their progress in the system. You even get a separate “My Reported Issues” tab.
Public bug tracking is a great way to show transparency, but it requires a proactive approach by the developer to avoid attracting backlash over the timelines or priorities when squashing issues.
Still,it looks likeOutlawsmight end 2024 on a high, which is a rarity fora recent Ubisoft title.
