Steam Payment Change Is Purging Adult Games From The Store
Changes to Steam’s payment policies have led to a mass purge of adult content, with games being taken off the store for not complying with standards.
A trailer for Dead Take on the Surgent Studios YouTube channel has announced that the game is coming to Steam on July 31. The game’s full cast was also shown, revealing big names that were a surprise until now.

It was already known that Dead Take was fronted by two big names, as Neil Newbon (Astarion inBaldur’s Gate 3) and Ben Starr (Clive Rosfield inFinal Fantasy 16and Verso inClair Obscur: Expedition 33). The two of them are both auditioning for the same role, which is a central part of the story.
The trailer has confirmed that Jane Perry will be in the game, along with Matt Mercer, Laura Bailey, Sam Lake, Alanah Pearce, Travis Willingham, and Connor Colquhoun. These names have been associated witha ton of anime, video games, and web series over the years, includingDragon Ball Z,Returnal, andCritical Role, bringing some serious talent to the project.

The existing Dead Take trailers have focused on Newbon and Starr’s performances, with the expectation that the story is going to mostly be about them. These extra names muddy the waters, and it’s possible thatmany more actorsare going to be slain during the player’s exploration of the mansion than originally anticipated.
