It happens a lot for players inStar Citizenwhen they need to refill the ship’s fuel tank after a long trip or need to repair the ship and recharge its ammunition, including missiles, after bounty hunting. Hopefully, all of these services can be done in less than a minute.

Neither refueling nor repairing is a costly service in Star Citizen. So, you can freely roam around the universe and delve into high-octane actions in bounty-hunting missions, knowing that you won’t spend more than a few thousand aUEC at the end of the day.

Where To Refuel Or Repair Ships

Hangars, Drop Pads, and Landing Pads all over the universe offer the services above. Usually, people visit space stations and use a Hangar or a Drop Pad to get such services, but if you are already exploring on a moon or a planet, you don’t need to exit the atmosphere and fly to the closest space station. Just search the moon for a mining facility with a Landing Pad, and there you’re able to get a refuel for your ship.

How To Refuel Or Repair Ships

Once you landed on one of the aforementioned places, press “U” to turn off the engines and other electronic devices of the ship. Now, press “F2” to open up MobiGlass. In the bottom tabs, click on the button with a wrench icon called Vehicle Management Services.

Now, you should be able to spot a new page with four rows of options. Any of the options that say “No Action Required,” means you are good to go on that part. The bottom two options are related to fuel. If you are low on fuel, just click on the bigger button and wait until it turns red, saying “No Action Required.” Keep in mind that depending on your ship’s status the repair or refuel process could take longer or shorter, but it is usually done under a minute.

I Can’t See The Options For Vehicle Management Services

If instead of the previous image, you see the image above with three columns and no options, it may have different causes. First, you cannot get any services after pressing “F3” to initiate a take-off. So, make sure that you have not pressed “F3” unintentionally or twice after landing. If you have already initiated a take-off, get out of the hangar, and then request a new hangar to land once again.

If that’s not the problem, then make sure that your ship has landed and touched the ground. Also, make sure to turn off the ship’s systems by pressing “U”.

VMS

If none of the above is true in your case, then it is probably a bug. You are advised to throw that ship away and claim a new one, but make sure to transfer all the items you have inside the ship to a space station or a city before leaving the ship.
