As you make your way throughSTALKER 2,The Zone immediately throws you into the thick of it and tries its best to alienate, discombobulate, and kill you in sick and twisted ways.
Due to these weird places' homicidal nature, quests will take you to some odd places with strange anomalies, and there are few strangers than the Poppy Field.

Nvidia Publishes STALKER 2 Benchmarks With DLSS 3
STALKER 2 will have Nvidia Reflex and DLSS 3 on day one.
This is a quest that can be picked up in Zalyssia, and will see you travel to a rare place of beauty in The Zone in search of a religious artifact. But, here’s the catch. If you fall asleep in the Poppy Field, you won’t wake up again.

So, to help you get in and out of this strange place in one piece, here is how to get through the Poppy Field quest in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Where is the Poppy Field?
After you take the quest in Zalyssia from Mityay, you should see the Poppy Field quest marked on your map. This area is one of the major Anomalous areas on the map, and one of the few in the Lesser Zone.
It can be found in theNorthwest corner of the Lesser Zone, closest to the Pol Depot.

Just a tip before you head out from Zalyssia though. Be sure to bring along a good few Energy Drinks for your quest, you’ll need them, trust me.
How The Poppy Field Works
When you get to the Poppy Field, you’ll have the option to speak to Pomor in a shack on the field’s periphery. We suggest you do this, as this will give you some much-needed insight into this anomaly.
Pomor is willing to provide you with some information about the area and the exact coordinates of the Root Cellar you are looking for. However, as with everything in the zone, it’ll cost you.

I can give you info about the Poppy Field here and now. It’s an area where you’ll constantly get drowsy, teleport to areas of the field if you get too sleepy, and if you happen to get caught in some petals in the wind. It’s night-night for you, and I’m talking about the big sleep, not just a little nap. However, the co-ordinates of the Cellar are best given to you by Pomor himself.
you’re able to either give them 2,000 Coupons straight up for the info, or you can do a little job for him gathering all the ammo and weapons from dead bodies around the Poppy Field.

Honestly, due to the potential of death in the Poppy Field, as well as the immense weight of carrying these items around in the area, making you even slower than your drowsy state already does, this is effectively a death warrant. So pay the man what he wants.
Black Ops 6 Reverts Token Removal After Backlash
It would not be a Call of Duty release if the multiplayer side of things did not descend into chaos.
However, if you’re determined to go out on your own and find the Cellar for yourself, you’ll want to head to the largest building in the middle of the field and then head northwest toward a more patchy area with fewer flowers.
But seriously, 2,000 Coupons is nothing for the peace of mind that comes with an exact location.
While in the Poppy Field, you may be able to find an Altered Item called a Weird Flower. It’s rather easy to spot from the roof of the buildings in the field, as it’s a blue flower amongst red poppies. Sadly, your Detector is no help here, so keep your eyes peeled.
What To Do With The Religious Icon
After you secure the Religious Icon, and hopefully make it back out of the area without taking a dirt nap, you’ll have a choice to make.
You can either do the honorable thing and head back to Zalyssia to give Mithay his Religious Icon. Or you can be a true Stalker and give the item to Pomor.
If you choose to bring the item back to Mityay, you’ll net yourself 1,350 Coupons, which is hardly worth even going on the trip at all.
However, if you decide to give the item over to Pomor, you’ll get your hands on a uniqueAR416 called Unknown Stalker’s AR416.
If you ask me, it’s a real no-brainer. You should hand that item over to Pomor and merrily go on your way with your new rifle. But, it really depends if you’re still clinging to the idea that you’re a good person or not.
