2025 has been off to a great start because of the release of the second season of theSolo Levelinganime series titled “Solo Leveling – Arise From The Shadows.” The first episode saw its release on July 21, 2025, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the second episode to see the further development of the narrative focusing on Sung Jinwoo and his journey as a hunter.

One of the most intriguing aspects ofSolo Levelingseason 2 is the new opening and ending themes that the series has received this year. The opening theme song is called Reawaker, which is performed by Lisa (feat. Felix of Stray Kids), and the ending theme song is called Un-Apex, performed by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure.

This time, the anime has put a special focus on the theme songs of the series, particularly the ending theme song, which is produced by Japanese musician and singer-songwriter Toru Kitajima, also known as TK.

The ending theme song shows two different Sung Jinwoo from two different moments of the story. The first one is the shy and timid Jinwoo, who was first introduced within theSolo Levelingnarrative, and the second one is the powerful Jinwoo, who leveled up after gaining the System. Both of them meet each other in the end, hinting at the development Jinwoo has since the series started.

Although the ending theme is slowly getting popular for its catchy tune, fans fail to realize that it also has an easter egg that no one seems to notice. This easter egg is regarding one of the most significant characters in the series who is going to make an appearance probably in the third season. This character is Ashborn, who chose Jinwoo to be his host.
He is the main reason why Jinwoo was able to become so powerful and essentially save the world. However, he doesn’t make an appearance until much later.
