If Morena Baccarin plans on switching gears and shifting into the DCU, she already has a role in her mind that would be perfect for her – Catwoman. As it turns out, fans would love nothing more than the actress donning the black suit and heading over to the DCU to cause some trouble.
Morena Baccarin Wants to Play Catwoman
Morena Baccarinand Ben McKenzie sat down at Fan Expo Canada where they were interviewed by Maggie Lovitt. During the conversation, Baccarin revealed that there is one DC character she has her eye on – Catwoman.
She stated,“She’s just perfect,”and we can’t help but wonder that Baccarin would make a great Catwoman. Consider us on board! This is not the first time the actress has shown her interest in the character.

Back in 2018, she joinedCinepopfor an interview where she was asked if she would like to play a superhero anytime soon. However, she surprised the fandom by stating that she had no interest in playing a hero and that she’d be much better off bringing a villain to life. Baccarin said,“I identify more with the villains, Poison Ivy and Catwoman.”
Another instance where Baccarin talked about playing the badass character was on her Instagram Live, years ago (viaGeekTyrant). While the physical aspects do match with the comic book counterpart, the only thing concerning some fans – is her age. At 45, the necessary stunts and young physicality of Catwoman will be hard to match.

The actress also has previous experience in the Batman universe as she played the role of Leslie Thompkins in the series,Gotham.
