Despite being in a new relationship with Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez expresses a sense of incompleteness—a reason that is not tied to her partner. It’s an absence of her best friend, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
TheOnly Murders In the Buildingstar shared a moment on the Instagram story with Beckham filled with nostalgia. It was a throwback picture of the two where they are enjoying a boat ride in matching white outfits. In the post, the 31-year-old captioned,“Miss you.”
Gomez also took to social media and praised Peltz’s directorial debut in the upcoming filmLola(scheduled for release on Feb. 9). TheSingle Soonsinger shared a still from the movie on another slide of the story, captioning,“Proud friend.”
The two BFFs were last seen together on Dec 3, attending the Academy Museum Gala with Peltz Beckham’s husband, Brooklyn Beckham. They were present there to celebrate the anniversary of their friendship.

Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz first met at the Academy Museum Gala in October 2022. Since then, they have been like two peas in a pod. Even Peltz’s hubby, Brooklyn Beckham too embraced their friendship and quipped themselves a “throuple.”
Then in January 2023, the duo revealed matching tattoos, during a New Year’s Eve trip to Los Cabos, Mexico. They both got the word “Angel” inked on their forearms.
The duo even matched sequined mini-dresses during their tropical vacation. So from matching tattoos to matching dresses, the two stars have quickly formed a Best-friends status.
In March of the previous year, theHolidateactress expressed her gratitude towards Gomez in an interview withCosmopolitan UK, saying:
“We just clicked and had a great time. And then we got super, super close. I feel like she’s my soul sister. I love her so much. She’s really one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my whole life. The kindest person ever. Truly, her heart is gold. I feel like I’ve known her forever.”
