Under the creative leadership of its creator, Eiichiro Oda, Netflix has released a new anime series titledMonsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation. He created the one-shotMonstersin 1994, which has a direct tie toOne Piece.Now, thirty years later, an original Netflix anime adaption of Oda’s tale of a samurai with the heart of a true warrior brings the story back to life.

Oda confirmed that the story was canon to theOne Piecestory in SBS Volume 47. The story revolves around Ryuma, a swordsman who is searching for a certain man to bring down but instead finds himself helping a young lady who undertakes an attempt to kill a mythical dragon.
This is the same Ryuma as seen inOne Piece’sThriller Bark arc. Ryuma is known as the Sword God and in the world ofOne Piecethere are only 2 characters who can beat him in his prime self. These two characters are currently the strongest in theOne Piecestory and their powers and abilities are unknown to theOne Piecefans.

Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon DamnationAnime Released on Netflix
Oda’s early work, which was created long beforeOne Piece, is now the focus of attention thanks to Netflix’s anime adaptation. The animeMonsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnationis currently available, and it is brought to us by E&H Production.
Fuminao Akai is the art director, Takashi Kojima is the character designer, and Sunghoo Park, who is well-known for his artistic contributions to Jujutsu Kaisen and God of High School, is the director. Takeki Kobayashi produced the music, which was composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi.

When Ryuma was in his prime, he earned a lot of titles like the Sword God and Ryuma the King. This was because he possessed the skills that put him at the top of the list of legendary swordsmen. The only two characters who could have defeated him in his prime were JoyBoy and Imu Sama.

The powers and abilities of Imu and Joyboy are unknown to fans and the only thing known is currently they are currently the strongest characters in the series. Therefore only they have the potential to defeat Ryuma in his prime.
