HAN-D is one of the returning survivors from theoriginal game. Primarily a melee survivor, he has extremely high damage potential at close range. Combined with his high base damage, any item that increases damage percentage or attack speed will make him a terror on the field. How To Unlock HAN-D
The Robot Janitor HAN-D can be found in a gray, cracked shipping container in UES Contact Light, the sixth and final map in Risk of Rain Returns.You can reach Contact Light after completing Temple of the Elders, the fifth stage map, and choosing to go to Contact Light instead of continuing the run. Unlike the previous maps, the sixth level only has one map, making finding HAN-D an easy task if you know where to look.
As soon as you enter Contact Light, you’ll find yourself in a room with multiple shipping containers.HAN-D is in the cracked gray shipping container.The gray container is also the only one that should be damaged, making it easy to identify.
The cracked gray container is not always present in the first room,and you might have to investigate a bit before finding it. Once you find the container, walk up to the door and press the interact button to unlock HAN-D. The next time you start a run, HAN-D will be one of the survivors that you can play as.
How To Unlock All HAN-D’s Alternate Abilities
The Robot Janitor has three abilities that can be unlocked.

Fire a Drone for 190% damage while also temporarily gaining attack speed. Gain Drones by killing enemies.

Drone - Blast
Fire a Drone that explodes on contact for 500% damage at blinding speeds, extending Overclock duration. Gain Drones by killing enemies.
Create a Golden Drone(Combine three identical drones to create a silver drone. Then combine three identical silver drones to create a golden drone.)
Disassemble
Tear combatants apart for 5x90% damage, scaling with attack speed. Can move slowly while casting.
Kill 15 enemies at once using the Sawmerang.Sawmerang is a saw-like equipment item that can be obtained from yellow chests. The achievement can be completed by baiting multiple smaller enemies together in a flat area before activating the Sawmerang.
