AResident Evil 4 Remakeplayer has discovered an infinite ammo glitch that works with the RPG, allowing Leon to send rockets as if they were standard pistol bullets. This exploit could seemingly give players an edge during combat; however, whether it can be used against enemies remains unclear at this point.First reported byTheGamer, Resident Evil streamerRegoleSlayershared a clip of Leon running with the RPG and passing through fires to navigate his way. As seen in the gameplay video below, the game thinks Leon has switched to the pistol, but the character is able to fire off rockets as if they were pistol bullets. It is worth noting that what causes the glitch is unclear, but it is most likely due to Leon taking fire damage while switching from the rocket launcher to the pistol.

Keep in mind that whether the recently-discovered glitch works against common enemies also remains uncertain. The streamer tries to take the pistol on hand while walking through fire, which seems to have triggered the glitch that lets Leon use the rocket launcher as if it was a classic pistol. There also remains the possibility that this glitch could be specific to that one location shown in the clip.

Players can give this glitch a try by switching from the rocket launcher to the pistol while running through a fire. However, this could result in just taking damage from fire without gaining infinite RPG ammo. The gameplay clip showcases Regole having ten rockets rather than a single rocket thanks to this glitch, which could be helpful if replicated.

Resident Evil players will be well aware that ammo is hard to come by, which means players must pick their shots carefully in order to not waste any bullets. Resident Evil 4 Remake being stingy on ammo makes the game even harder, as players might expect from a survival game.

On higher difficulties, ammo drops will be scarce, forcing players to rely on the combat knife for ammo conservation. Players can obtain additional ammo by manipulating the crafting system or using charms to increase yields and adjust inventory.
