Just like all good things in life, the journey of Leon in theResident Evil 4: Remakealso comes to an end. But for those that are still up for action, here are some things that players can do after beating the game.

With an average campaign time of about 16 hours including only the main objectives, Resident Evil 4: Remake covers a lot. The enticing story and the action-packed battle sequences seem all fun and games, yet it still feels like something is missing, especially to veteran players that are known for being completionists. And with this entry in the Resident Evil series, there’s a lot more that players can do even after saving the president’s daughter.
1New Game+
There’s nothing like breezing through enemies without having a care in the world, and in Resident Evil 4: Remake, players can once again dive into the main storyline from the beginning without losing their hard-earned upgrades and progress.
New Game+ allows players to better enjoy their experience in saving Ashley Graham, without stressing out so much about facing strong enemies or scrounging around for resources. Thanks to their upgrades, players should be able to easily make their way through a New Game+ adventure while growing even stronger.
2Achievements
There’s nothing more satisfying than unlocking all the achievements and trophies that the game has to offer, especially in the case of the Resident Evil 4: Remake.
If there’s one thing that’s even more rewarding than killing all the zombies and even saving Ashley in the Resident Evil 4: Remake is seeing the achievement unlocked pop-up on the screen after putting through hours and hours of hard work and button tapping. Completing all the trophies and achievements is what many veteran players strive for after finishing up the main game, so though it might take a while, it’s something fun to pursue.

3Collectibles
With a game that has a total of 180 collectible locations, missing a few is bound to happen, especially during the first play-through of the Resident Evil 4: Remake.

Ranging from treasures tothe clockwork Castellans, the game has a list of stuff the players can collect during the storyline or even after that. Combine this with a New Game+ and players will have a much easier time finishing up the list even amid the blood-hungry zombies.
4Outfits and Accessories
Getting past some of the hardest enemies in the Resident Evil 4: Remake is one thing, but getting through them with style and glamour is another and probably the more important one to some.
The Resident Evil 4: Remake has about fourteen different outfits for Leon and Ashley. Some of them can be unlocked by completing the main story while others can be obtained through the Extra DLC Packs. Collecting all the outfits might take a while, but saving the president’s daughter in a Pinstripe suit is worth the time and effort.
5Professional Mode
The Resident Evil 4: Remake isn’t an easy game to complete by any means. But for those that like to live on the edge with the risk of losing all their progress by a single mistake, Professional Mode in the game is the place to be.
Professional Mode can be unlocked after completing the main storyline. For starters, the blessing of auto-save gets removed as well as the occasional easy enemies. During Professional Mode, all enemies will have increased health and difficulty and will appear more frequently and in greater numbers.
6Higher Ranking
When it comes to rankings in Resident Evil 4: Remake, the lowest you can get is a B which doesn’t sound that bad until the perfectionist need of getting the S+ rank comes along.

In total, the game consists of four ranks that include B, A, S, and S+, except for The Mercenaries DLC. Although all of them have different requirements, the only thing common in them except for the B rank is the fact that they’re incredibly hard and will require multiple replays. So players must best bring their A-game to the table if they want the shiny S+ rank.
7Complete the DLC
The first thing that pops up in the player’s mind is whether the game that they just completed has DLCs or not. Luckily for Resident Evil 4: Remake fans, the game has a free DLC known as The Mercenaries.
The mode itself is an arcade-based DLC where players get ranks and rewards for completing challenges. Players canunlock mercenary characterssuch as Leon, Luis, Krauser, and Hunk as playable characters in the mode as they pass through the village, castle, and island individually. And if you get an S rank or above in all challenges, there’s a special Hand Cannon reward at the end that can be bought for 1000CP.
8Shooting Range
Those who’ve played the original version of the game will remember the shooting range and similar to that, Resident Evil 4: Remake brought the shooting range back for fans to obsess over.
The Shooting Rangecan be accessed through the Merchant at selective locations as there are a total of five shooting ranges in the game. The main reason for completing them is the Silver and Gold tokens. These tokens can be exchanged at the dispenser to get randomized charms that can prove to be quite helpful during your adventures in the game.
9In-game Challenges
During their adventures, players might’ve noticed certain challenges getting completed on their own. The good news is that those were probably the basic challenges, the bad news is that there are over 100 challenges in the game, and completing all of them is one of the hardest tasks to do in the game.
The challenges are divided into five categories, each bearing its requirements. Ranging from the simple Novice Fighter challenge that only asks for a melee attack for completion to the Sprinter that requires a gameplay completion time of 8 hours or less, the list of challenges is something players should consider completing.
10Bonus Weapons
To save the president’s daughter from what appears to be an endless onslaught of zombies and many other enemies, it’s not the courage or the skill that helps Leon to survive, but rather tons of useful weapons. For those that want extra firepower, bonus weapons are the way to go in the Resident Evil 4: Remake.
There are a total of three bonus weapons in the game consisting of the Primal Knife, Chicago Sweeper, and the Handcannon. To obtain all three of them, players will have to complete selective challenges and then buy them at a common price of 1000 CP. The weapons aren’t just for show as they have exclusive perks that are extremely helpful in the game such as infinite ammo or indestructibility.
