Remnant 2is the latest release from Gunfire Games and the sequel to the 2019’s popular hardcore shooter that is now back with even a bigger world and more new features, inviting players to embark on a new nightmarish journey once again.

Keeping the co-op core of the gameplay, the procedurally generated worlds and dungeons are still a thing in Remnant 2 as well. With new character classes, more difficult enemy types, and more diverse areas and worlds, the game will keep you engaged for quite a significant time.

Remnant 2 officially launched on July 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The exact release time is universal between consoles, but the PC version launched a bit late.

Currently, there is no mention of a Nintendo Switch release for Remnant 2, but regarding the fact that Remnant: From The Ashes released for Switch earlier this year, Gunfire Games may actually deliver the sequel to the platform in the future as well.

Remnant 2 Editions & Pre-Order Bonus

Remnant 2 features three different editions. The Standard Edition costs $49.99 and only gives access to the base game. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, includes early access to three in-game armor sets from Remnant: From The Ashes and costs $59.99.

Ultimate Edition Details

The highest tier version of the game is Ultimate Edition, which includes all Deluxe Edition content along with 3 days of Early Access to the game. Moreover, Ultimate Edition comes with the Starter Pack and access to the DLC bundle that will launch sometime after the game’s release.

Pre-purchasing any edition of Remnant 2 will give players instant access to theGunslinger archetype. This archetype is quite useful for players who don’t want to annoy themselves by pausing the combat to reload the weapons or starting looking for ammo when a big bad boss is chasing them. This archetype almost gives you every skill that you need to keep firing without hiccups.

Keep in mind that Gunslinger will still be accessible for free by playing the game, but you will need to finish at least two worlds to be able to unlock Gunslinger archetype. Also, you will need to have a bunch of rare resources.
