There are a lot of mysteries to uncover inRedfall, with enemies, weapons, and more to be found as you fight your way through the Vampires and Cultists. A lot of these things are mysteries simply becausethey are not well-explained.

Such is the case with Underbosses, which are bigger enemies than you will find out in the world, and you really might not even find very much if you don’t seek them out. And on top of that, when you take them out, they’ll drop something that you likely will have no idea what to do with -an Underboss Skull.
How To Get Underboss Skulls
You will have to hunt down an Underboss in order to get ahold of their skulls, and you can find one foreach district on the map. If you work to clear out each neighborhood and complete all the Safehouse missions, you will have to fight the Underboss in order to complete them. Luckily, the missions will point you right where you need to go, and all you need to do is take them down.
They’rejust a little higher level and will require a little more damageto take down from normal Vampires, but not enough to make them a massive threat. Once you have driven your stake through them, they will crumble into dust, and you can loot the remains to pick up their Skull.
How To Use Underboss Skulls
The purpose of the Underboss Skulls is tosummon one of the four Vampire Gods, which serve as some of the big bads that you can take down in the game. You will be pointed in the general direction of the lairs that you need to summon them at as you work your way through the main story of the game.
In order to summon each Vampire God, you will need tocollect three Underboss Skulls and also a Remnant, then you can place them at the altars and the Vampire God will be summoned. Luckily, you can do these Underboss missions over and over once you have completed the Safehouse missions, so you can farm some Underboss Skulls if you want to work on summoning those big baddies.
