If James Gunn Disappoints Alan Ritchson Despite His Batman Campaign Then He Would be a Perfect Beast in MCU’s X-Men Movies
Ritchson is set to play the role of John Miller who gets released from prison and out for revenge after being wrongfully convicted. Set in 1970s Detroit, this movie promises an unconventional narrative style, which would set it apart from other films in the genre.
Even the movie star, Ben Foster, has vouched for the same, adding that the movie is going to immerse the viewers more into visual storytelling with minimal dialogues.

In an interview withCollider, he explained,
The film itself, Motor City — we just wrapped — is virtually a silent film.

He further emphasized that the“rock-disco revenge”project features just“five lines of dialogue”making it more of a visual treat, making audiences understand the concept through their action rather than dialogues.
With the absence of dialogue, viewers will focus more on the visual narrative that the actors present on screen, putting their performances in the spotlight. Because of this, the stakes are high regarding whether the movie will be a hit or a flop.

However, the lead star is sort of familiar when it comes to working in silence thanks to his portrayal of Jack Reacher in the Amazon series.

In an interview with theAssociated Press, he reflected on his character traits’ stating,
He’s socially awkward, very stoic, and very cerebral. None of those things should make for an interesting character.

He continued to share,
It’s a terrifying thing to be completely still and in your head and to trust that. Like, as I play Reacher, I swear to God, there’s not one scene where I feel like, ‘That was the most interesting scene of all TV.’ I always leave going, ‘My God, how boring was that for everybody else?’
While the actor had his doubts about whether his role was convincing enough and interesting, the series’ director Sam Hill, and the production team had nothing but positive feedback.
He felt like he was in a“terrifying space”where he was unsure if his performance was engaging or not but it kept working.
