How To Use The Kludge Drone Strategically

While the Kludge drone is a strong attacker gadget, it isnot indestructible. The drone is noticeably larger than the standard survey drones, making it easier to spot and shoot. Additionally, the drone produces a distinct sound when attacking defender gadgets, which can give away its position if an alert defender happens to be nearby. Here are a few tips to help you maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Kludge drone.

Brava’s Best Weapons & Attachments

When it comes to guns, Brava can choose between thePara-308 assault rifleand theCAMRS DMR. Her sidearm also offers two options: theSuper Shottyand theUSP40. Depending on your play style, you may want to adjust your loadout accordingly.

ThePara-308has a decent fire rate and almost no recoil, making it excellent to equip with the extended barrel attachment. The gun also supports1.5x optics, perfect for close-quarters combat. Alternatively, theCAMRSis another heavy-hitting DMR, supporting up to3x optics. The DMR is exceptionally great for holding long lines of sight and providing support to your breachers and entry operators.

You may also want to pick theSuper Shottyover theUSP40, as the shotgun will allow you to open hatches, create rotations, and make holes through soft walls for your Kludge drone.

As for her secondary gadget, Brava can choose betweensmoke grenadesandclaymores. Claymores are always great for covering your flanks, but you may want to go with smoke grenades if your team plans on pushing the site for a plant.

How To Counter Brava & Her Kludge Drone

The direct counter to Brava isMute. Mute’ssignal disruptorprevents Kludge drones from entering the site. As aMute player, you should strategically place your jammers out of the drone’s line of sight, as Brava canhack mute jammersand use them against your team. Placing signal disruptors onelevated objects or at a deep angle on a doorwayis an effective tactic to prevent Kludge drones from acquiring a line of sight on the jammers.

The second counter to Brava isMozzie’s Pest. If a Kludge drone is hacked by a pest,Mozzie can take control of the droneand hack attacker gadgets like claymores, Nomad’s air jabs, and even cameras previously hacked by Brava. It’s crucial toavoid Mozzie pestsas much as possible. One of the best ways to do this is todrone slowly, checking corners and pest warnings before entering a room.

The third counter to Brava isMaestro’s Evil Eye. While it’s possible tohack Evil Eyes, you need to be within10 metersto do so successfully. In contrast, Evil Eyes have a long range at which they can shoot their tasers.Avoiding Evil Eyes can be challengingif Maestro is actively using them, but if he’s not, it’s always worth the risk to try hacking the gadget. A single Evil Eye can allow you todestroy multiple defender gadgets, so it’s a worthwhile trade.

Finally,Aruni’s Surya gatescan counter the Kludge drone if you intentionally jump the drone through the gate. Surya gates have gaps at the bottom that allow drones to cross safely.
